Pot roast with potatoes and peas: Honestly not the best. It was rather dry. And the peas shriveled up even though they looked lovely in the bag. So here’s a recipe not to follow: place a chuck roast on a coarsely chopped onion. Add tomato paste and a cup of water. Cover and bake 2.5 hours at 350. 5/10.
Really a pressure cooker is the only way to make a delightful, umami pot roast.
