100 at heart

Dear internet,

1. I really like reading books on my phone on the Libby app. I put so many books on hold in February and now I have too many books to read. Yay DCPL. Prior to January I never read e-books because I am 100 years old at heart. But I read a lot more + no library book germs with the app. Also there’s a fun part where they predict how long it will take you to finish a book. Fun and a bit of surveillance, too. I am reading The Little Book of Hygge and Daisy Jones and the Six right now. Just finished One Day: The Extraordinary Story of One Day.

2. The pediatric well-child appointment looms ahead of us. I got a call from the clinic asking some pre-screening questions, such as “have you or anyone in your household lost their sense of taste or smell in the last two weeks?”  It’s strange times.

We decided it was better to take il Bambino to her appointment and get all the shots etc than to postpone it to the 30th of never. Only one of us can go with her and we have to wear masks.

It will be weird to be inside a building other than our apartment building. I haven’t been anywhere indoors since March 11 when I went to the panic-buying arena that is (was?) the supermarket.
