On my walk today I saw a college-aged dude sitting on a lawn chair on the sidewalk. As I got closer, I saw a college-aged girl on a balcony talking to him.
They could have just texted or face-timed or even called each other, but they wanted to be there, in person, separated by one story.
I get that. When all the covid-19 news started breaking, I wanted to call people on the phone, not just text. Maybe coronavirus will kill text culture, who knows?
